Twenty Years and Three Days

Some people believe there was no Tiananmen? But… I still carry the pain of it!

We’ve had so much fun on a little landscaping project here that I wanted to show you our progress.

Learning to cast actually requires a lot of concentration, and I spent several hours working on trying to get the line and my limbs all coordinated.

Memories pulled me back in time, when I recalled standing out on the wide, rocky beaches, watching his line fly so far back and so far forward.

All four seasons, baby! This place is awesome.

It’s a twisted way to feel grateful, but gratitude is always a good place to be.

There were a couple of days last week warm enough to put our clothes out on the line.

And as much as we struggle, this truly is a beautiful life.

I’ve resisted writing about it because I don’t want to face it: the foreclosure process has begun on our home mortgage.
