Serendipity led me to this oasis of water and beauty in southern New Mexico.

Three Rivers Petroglyphs

A truly remarkable collection of 21,000 petroglyphs in an easily accessible location outside of Tularosa, NM.

If I could spend only one hour in White Sands National Park, this was the correct hour to spend.

It turns out that the name is appropriate, as we climbed so high as to be in the realm of clouds.

I have only a couple bucket list items from my childhood. Seeing the bats at Carlsbad is one of them, and I have finally done that one!
