No Controversy

I actually read it somewhere else, after I told my Uncle, “Everyone loved her. That’s a true sign of her love and her character. There’s no controversy about whether to love Dolly Parton.” I think it was in the New York Times this morning. Somewhere it said something like, “What is something everyone agrees on? Dolly Parton.”

I heard this song for the first time today:

Song about her gratitude after performing sick in Eugene, and the audience supporting her through it.

Pretty cool to learn that she had a good experience in Eugene, Oregon back in 1972. My state has problems, like they all do, but I still love it and I’m proud to live here. It’s a nice song to listen to and think about her gifts to the world. My two faves are the movie 9 to 5, and her involvement in the Moderna COVID-19 vaccination. Oh, I mean, besides the music, which is a given.

This message would have been very hard for me to deliver, had this been my job.

Have a good day. Take a moment to see how powerful joy can be when a person chooses it.
