Scientists assure us that finding multiple beached whales within weeks of each other is coincidental, and may be due to the weather.

We were not the only people eager to hit the muddy trails for a Sunday beach hike in January.

It’s a surprisingly beautiful amusement park.

Pedro and I took a hot air balloon ride across the valley.

All of this to say that Durham is a distinctly art-minded community.

On our last day at the beach, we played in the sunshine.

When it rains too much to work in the yard, I am forced to do other things, like catch up on overdue blog posts.

So many little things are happening around me. It’s time to catch you up.

Considering the amount of destruction this storm caused, I am so grateful that I escaped serious problems.
