Why today is better

It’s a twisted way to feel grateful, but gratitude is always a good place to be.

There were a couple of days last week warm enough to put our clothes out on the line.

And as much as we struggle, this truly is a beautiful life.

I’ve resisted writing about it because I don’t want to face it: the foreclosure process has begun on our home mortgage.

She decided it actually was pretty cool. “Ok, I’ll fly with you,” she said.

I wouldn’t even know what more to ask for if I was able to choose my perfect daughter.

“I hate hiking! I don’t want to go! You guys always make me do this stuff and I hate it so much!”

We don’t ride your hide because we’re mean, children, we do it because WE LOVE YOU!

My fear now is that this will be another hunting website.
