We were not the only people eager to hit the muddy trails for a Sunday beach hike in January.

It was a glorious day for a beach hike.

It’s winter, so the sky grows dark about 4:30 and is pitch black by 5 pm.

We were invited to a wedding on the East Coast and extended our visit to explore America’s tiniest state.
