Every time I walked out the door of the hotel, I found more art. It’s everywhere in Durham!

All of this to say that Durham is a distinctly art-minded community.

We went on four tours in a single day at the McMenamins Edgefield campus.

Though I loved the music, the scene made me happiest.

I love when I am paying attention and Mother Nature gives a gift.

The more you look, the more there is to see at McMenamins Edgefield.

The McMenamins family brought craft brewing to Portland and established a beer culture here.

Bonnie’s hike gave me the boost I needed to get outside and do my own hike.
