Glimpses of Rome and Thoughts of Home

On our last day in Italy, we saw as much of Rome as we could see.

Roman Colosseum and Forum

The Forum was a city center for commerce, religion, politics, administration and social life.

Maybe it was our inability to take in St. Peter’s Basilica, but the thing we commented about the most was the stairs.

We left one incredible Italian city for another.

Ostia Antica is an excellent opportunity to study what things must have been like in Rome.
