We chose a couple of McMenamins close to home so we could enjoy a night out and return quickly.

By following the signs, you get to the right places.

Pedro had requested a night in a yurt for his birthday. It was a first time for both of us.

This unexpectedly delightful place to stay turned out to be one of the best things about our road trip.

We stayed two nights at the McMenamins Anderson School in Bothell, Washington in early December.

The Belle Brigade is a relay team of walkers made up of women military veterans.

It was our last day and I pushed through the pain in my feet to keep going.
