Guanajuato y Ashland

Ashland, Oregon’s sister city is Guanajuato, in Guanajuato state in Mexico. They are the reason I have Pedro in my life.

Durham Farmers’ Market

The Durham Farmers’ Market runs year ’round on Saturday, and during warmer months is also open on Wednesdays. It’s open today at 3pm – you should go!

Every time I walked out the door of the hotel, I found more art. It’s everywhere in Durham!

All of this to say that Durham is a distinctly art-minded community.

We have such talented people in our Mt. Hood Cherokees group.

I attended two plays in a single week in a single building, both stories shaped by the year 1989.

The Vatican Museums hold objects, of course, but they are themselves works of art.

You start with a light colour, then add a tiny bit of the darker colour and paint a mountain.

There’s still art in my life, it just looks a little different now.

Didn’t expect to find my childhood home in a museum!
