A scheduling snafu on the last day in April resulted in me having an entire day to kill in Maryland before my flight left for England at 9:30 pm.

Just steps away from my hotel in a busy suburb of Annapolis is an escape into nature.

Tying up loose ends before my trip includes letting you know what things look like around here.

And suddenly, our time in New Zealand was over. It’s hard to comprehend how many adventures we had in only two weeks.

Ian Hayman, the quirky farmer, led us through our next adventure on the shores of Lake Pukaki.
