McMenamins Thanksgiving

This year we decided on a “Staycation,” in other words, a vacation at home.

Alhóndiga y Universidad (Grain Exchange and University)

Two more landmarks I want to talk about are the Alhóndiga de Granaditas and Universidad de Guanajuato.

For any teenagers who may be reading this blog post, your parents wish you would do this sometimes: come up with your own plan if our plan is so bad.

We cut our time in Valladolid short and went to Tulum next.

A cenote is a sinkhole filled with water. They are everywhere in the Yucatán.

Whew! We did it. And I pulled it off as Captain.

Sandy came to pick me up and take me to the coast so we could have fun and catch up on each others’ news.

This is my fourth blog post about this southern Washington landmark and outstanding hiking trail.

I made the loop around the Willamette in downtown Portland twice in two weeks.

We all arrived at the same time to Safari West and began the fun task of getting to know each other.
