June was Nice

I am not thriving in my mood, but I am certainly thriving in my life.

We spent the day walking in the footsteps of William Shakespeare.

Possibly the most photographed location in all of England is in the village of Bibury, in the heart of the Cotswolds.

We left our friends and New Forest, and were soon at the most famous ancient site in the UK.

A second evening spent with Derrick and Jackie was even better than the first one.

Beaulieu Motor Museum tickets also admitted us to the gardens, the Palace House, the Abbey, the Domus, and the BBC World Gardeners’ Spring Fair.

After honoring the document that inspired democracies around the world, Margaret and I got to meet Derrick and Jackie.

On our first day, we learned about the Ostrich Inn, and visited Windsor Castle.
