Train & Ferry to Seattle

We spent the weekend with friends in the Seattle area.

Ferry and Kayak to Nelson

We took a ferry from the North Island to the South Island, and the weather changed in time for river kayaking.

We had many hours to kill, and pent up energy from having spent an eternity on airplanes.

The first thing on our agenda was to cross the border into Canada for Pedro’s first visit to the country.

Since we were an hour’s drive away, that meant we had to get crack-a-lackin’!
