Our sixth day in England on May 6 was already good, but made better when we saw how great our Airbnb was for the next two nights.

Margaret and I visited three more Cotswolds villages as we made our slow journey north.

Possibly the most photographed location in all of England is in the village of Bibury, in the heart of the Cotswolds.

Castle Combe was heralded as the “prettiest village in England,” so of course I wanted to stop and take a look.

With its central grid of four streets, Lacock today looks much as it did 200 years ago.
