Many small things happen in the summer and it’s time to update you.

Friends on the Fourth

Our plans changed completely, but it still ended up being an especially great camping trip with friends.

A local family built their home up against ours. We don’t mind.

This year our gardens are mostly experiments, while we learn what works and what is needed to make the plants happier.

Old friends, new friends, a bone, a forest, and ice cream. It’s a recipe for a good day.

Proximity to the Fanno Creek Trail was one of the main reasons we bought the new house.

The Tigard balloon festival is one thing to love about Portland.

My fourth and final post about Universal Studios Hollywood gives my general impression of the visit.

I got a late start to my garden this year because I was dreading the vast amount of work it would take to begin.
